What’s Happening at Seaspray?

Well, all kinds of things. We like to do stuff. Fun stuff. Challenging stuff. We like to explore, and we like to learn. Even more, we love  to see our customers have a blast, learn great paddling skills, explore new waters, but also grow personally—to try new things, and maybe find a part of themselves they may not have yet discovered. That’s why throughout the season, we offer special events… we host world class paddlers, we paddle on full moons, have paddleboard yoga classes, host fishing tournaments and have special Kid/Family Events.

Starts in Newcastle and ends in Wiscasset, Maine this year!!

This is a 6 MILE CANOE, KAYAK and PADDLEBOARD RACE starting at the Newcastle Rest Area on Route 1. The first four miles  quickly begins meadering through four miles of beautiful, protected marshes and riverbanks for an fast and scenic start. The finish stretches out into the open harbor of Wiscasset for an exciting end. This race is part of the Maine Canoe & Kayak Flat Water Racing Series.

* We continue to dedicate this race to longtime race participant, paddler and friend, Earl Baldwin, Jr. We wish you were still paddling with us!

This race is organized and run by Seaspray Kayaking.All pre-registered participants will receive a Sheepscot River River Race T-shirt.
